Grüne Oase Ohliger

The 12,000 square meter garden with over 1,000 different plants, shrubs, trees, rhododendrons and azaleas invites you to linger. A wildflower meadow, a meadow with orchards, many different perennial beds and an approx. 550 square meter pond decorate the property. A 4,000 square meter forest with glowing rhododendrons and azaleas and native trees can be explored on the curved paths on a leisurely stroll.

From the terrace by the pond, the lovingly designed garden with its scents and the play of colors of the plants can be experienced in the middle of the relaxing tranquility of nature! After a path through the forest garden and a tour of the garden you will reach the barn, where you can indulge yourself with homemade cakes, tea and coffee. You are welcome to enjoy your coffee, tea and cake in the garden in a relaxed atmosphere. Take advantage of the many different seating options and enjoy the peace and quiet and the scents of nature.

The entire garden was designed by Klaus Ohliger himself and enchants its visitors in every season. The rich variety of plants and many successful combinations of plants can be admired to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. The garden was gradually designed with a lot of passion. There is nothing like working in the garden, making a change or sitting on one of the benches, enjoying everything and making new plans. Lingering in the garden means balance and relaxation for work, but also enjoyment of the diversity of nature!

An approx. 3.0 m high landscape tower was built in the garden. It gives visitors an elevated view of the Linsweger Esch. From above you can see the garden from a bird's eye view, while you discover many other sights and have an overview of the entire garden.
