For years, the owners of the Ham Hall have paid attention to the regional origin of the products. There you can get the best food, regardless of whether you are looking for something fresh to cook yourself or something that will last in a glass.

In addition, you can get a wide range of regional specialties in the Ammerland ham shop. The selection of typical Ammerland specialties varies depending on the season. You expect e.g. cabbage with sausage, asparagus or strawberries fresh from the field and all sorts of little things to nibble on. Regardless of whether it is a piece of cheese or the right wine, the variety is huge. For those who stayed at home or to take a piece of holiday home with you, you can find great gift baskets here that can be put together individually for you. In the oldest ham smokehouse in Ammerland

The oldest ham smokehouse in Ammerland can be found in the centre of Apen, two houses next to the church. Here the owner Arnd Müller will be happy to guide you through his ham museum, in which he is the ninth generation to smoke ham according to ancient tradition. The tour of the museum begins in the „Best Room“. You are welcome to take a seat on grandmother's sofa while Arnd Müller introduces you to the background of Ammerland ham production.
