Cycle path signpost

If you are on the Ammerlandroute, signs on the destination signposts show you that you are on the right path. Between the destination signs, follow the 20x30 cm intermediate signs with green lettering.

The 15 themed routes between 35 and 77 kilometres in length lead through the Ammerland park landscape and offer numerous opportunities for rallies. All 15 routes run through a numerical system. The tours are signposted in both directions, anticlockwise with a red dot. The cyclist can ride the day tour in both directions and combine it with other tours.

The junction system offers the cyclist maximum flexibility on the cycle path network in Ammerland. Simply plan the route using the map, write down the numbers of the corresponding nodes and off you go! On the way, the nodes are clearly visible on the signposts and an information board inserted in the cycle path network shows the direction to the next node. In the immediate vicinity, a tally board shows which route you will take to get to the next crossing.

Cyclists will find large destination signs everywhere at crossroads. The 75 x 15 cm large signs with green letters on a white background guide the cyclists safely through Ammerland. The signposts provide information about the next place, as well as the next larger destination with kilometers.

The intermediate signposts give you additional orientation on the cycle path network. If you follow the 20 x 30 cm signs, you will be on the right path in any case until you reach the next crossing point.
