The Park of Gardens offers a lot: for explorers, plant lovers and connoisseurs and those thirsty for knowledge as well. Of course also for the whole family or just to relax and unwind. Many lawns and open spaces, as well as playgrounds invite you to play and experience. No matter whether you are planning a family outing, enjoying the events, wanting to find out more or are looking for relaxation.
You can get an impressive foretaste of the park in the visitor centre. Here the “Green Treasure Chest” exhibition uniquely combines botanical theory with the practice of the park and its great variety of plants. Informative events on the subject of gardens and nature, together with a varied entertainment program, characterize the park season every year. So you can e.g. Expand your horticultural knowledge at the Lower Saxony Garden Academy located in the park or take part in guided tours (by prior arrangement). From the colourful plant market with garden flea market, to the OLB-SpielWELTEN and the unique Mystical Nights, the park's range of events offers something for everyone.
In addition to the garden experience, the park is an event location with great highlights for the region e.g. the "Illuminations" or the "Mystic Nights" have become an integral part of the park program - but many well-known artists also give concerts in this unique setting.
