Das Stadtarchiv im Jaspershof in Westerstede ist Anlaufpunkt für alle Fragen zur Geschichte Westerstedes oder des Ammerlands. Hier werden alle stadtgeschichtlich wichtigen Unterlagen aufbewahrt, und führen teilweise bis ins 16. Jahrhundert zurück. In den Beständen des Stadtarchivs sind zur Zeit Akten der Gemeinde- bzw. Stadtverwaltung, Nachlässe und Deposita, ein Bildarchiv, ein Zeitungsarchiv und diverse weitere Sammlungen.
